If you can’t make it to the farmer’s market, Community Food Works will bring the farmer’s market to you courtesy of GFM. Need to pick up some produce between the Rhode Island Row or Monroe Street markets? We’ve got you covered with produce from local farmers in Maryland and Virginia thanks to Community Food Works.
What about homegrown DC produce? DC UrbanGreens operates three growing sites in Ward 7 producing the freshest herbs, greens and vegetables you can find anywhere, available straight from their farms, right here in Woodridge.
Working directly with participants in DCCK’s Culinary Job Training Program, we are able to offer the freshest prepared food in town at a fantastic price while helping our neighbors gain valuable job skills.
Finding a home for misfit produce is no problem for these cold press connoisseurs. Misfit takes seconds, ugly fruit and other perfectly good produce destined for the landfill, and turns it into a great tasting cold pressed juice at a price that can’t be beet.
